History
Nottingham Dirt Buggies Ltd are an independently run company situated at Lockwell Activity Centre, a few miles away from the famous Sherwood Forest, and Center Parcs. We have been in operation since 2004, the company is owned and run by 2 females believe it or not!
From a catering background once serving hundreds of guys hot meals at a busy paint balling site nearby, after getting a taste for the outdoor life we decided to venture into the outdoor pursuits.
We sold our cafe business and purchased 2 Dirt Buggies and built the original tracks ourselves from scratch on a 6 acre plot of land at the Centre. We had a little dumper truck which we used to move the tyres. We have over the years grown significantly now owning a fleet of Adult and Junior Dirt Buggies. Our Buggies are manufactured by Gemini Karts Ltd, designed for commercial durability.
Back then the two of us used to do all the marshalling ourselves. Our first major booking in 2004 was a group of 12 guys on a stag do, the guys had such a good time they came back again for another adrenalin rush on the morning of the wedding which was a little worrying!
As we have grown we hung up our marshaling caps as we have opened a cafe on the site, which we operate ourselves. We now have an excellent team of experienced Dirt Buggy Staff, lead by our dependable Manager.
